8 Oct to 23 Oct: some classes are not running - all Tuesday and Thursday classes | Monday MonStars (4-9) | Wednesday MonStars (4-9)
Come and try judo
Your first class is completely free, with no obligation to join. Register in a couple of minutes, come down to the dojo, and give it a go.

You would not be the first. Here is what people are often wondering:
Everyone starts as a white belt. The coaches teach the basics from your very first class, at a pace that suits you.
We cater to every age and ability. From four-year-olds in MonStars to adults finding their feet. Come as you are, no fitness level required.
The very first thing you learn is how to fall and roll safely. Sessions are supervised, structured, and run on a proper sprung floor with mats.
We are a welcoming, community-minded club full of friendly people. Judo builds confidence, focus and fitness, and it's genuinely good fun.
From signing up to stepping off the mat: the whole thing, start to finish.
It takes a couple of minutes and sets you up so you'll be ready to go once you get down to the club.
Arrive about ten minutes early so a coach can say hello. A QR code on the wall checks you in for the class and gives you another chance to register.
Join the group for your first class, guided by a coach and matched to your level. Wear loose, comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle. No gi needed, and we train in bare feet.
Wind down with the class, meet a few members, and ask the coaches anything. Then decide if you would like to come back.
Every session is run by accredited coaches.

No. Beginners are welcome at any session, and your first class is free. Just wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Just wear loose, comfortable clothing like a t-shirt and track pants. No gi is needed to start. Bring a water bottle, and note we train in bare feet, so no shoes are needed on the mat. Arrive about 10 minutes early so we can say hello and get you set up.
It depends on the age group. MonStars run 45 minutes, Juniors an hour, and Seniors an hour and a half.
Yes. Judo 4 Girls runs weekly and is open to all ages. Come along to it for your free trial, or to any class that suits your age.
Absolutely, and we encourage it. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the whole class.
Often, yes, especially for children. Little ones can be shy on their first night, and some do not step on the mat at all, so we are relaxed about letting them ease in over a couple of visits. Adults usually only need one, but we are happy to make exceptions.
Register in a couple of minutes. Your first class is free. We will see you on the mat.
