A summary of what we collect and why. Questions? Email contact@rhsjudo.com.
What we collect
To run trials, memberships, and classes we collect: your name, date of birth, contact details and address; an emergency contact; any medical notes you choose to share; belt rank and governing-body member ID; and, for family accounts, the same details for the people you register. Members who set up recurring payments also provide direct-debit details.
Why we collect it
To register you for classes and gradings, keep you safe on the mat (emergency contact and medical notes), meet insurance and governing-body requirements, and bill membership or shop orders. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Website statistics
We count how many times each page on this site is viewed, so we know which pages are useful. The count is kept by this website and shared with nobody. It records only the page address and the date, never your IP address, your device or anything that could identify you, and it sets no tracking cookies.
Children's information
Children are registered and managed by a parent or guardian, who signs the waiver on their behalf. We only collect what's needed to keep young members safe and enrolled.
Who we share it with
Only where necessary to provide the service: our payment processor (Ezidebit) for direct-debit payments, our email provider for account and billing notices, and the relevant state judo body for membership and competition eligibility. Each handles your data under its own terms.
How it's stored
Your data is stored securely and access is limited to club staff who need it. Waiver signatures and uploaded documents are kept private and served only to you or authorised staff.
Access & deletion
You can view and update most of your details any time from your account. To request a copy of your data or have your account deleted, use the request option in your account settings or email us. Note that we may need to keep some records for legal, insurance or accounting reasons.
